Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all Unlimited Faxing accounts and plans, including those marketed as “Unlimited.” It protects recipients, the network, and other customers. Violations may result in rate limits, suspension, or termination without refund where permitted by law.

1. Fair use for “unlimited” plans

“Unlimited” means reasonable, human-driven business faxing typical for the plan’s intended audience (for example, a clinic, law firm, or operations team). It does not mean unbounded automated or continuous high-rate transmission. We may define or adjust soft volume thresholds based on observed network load. Sustained use far above peer norms, especially automated blasting, is not fair use.

2. Prohibited activities

  • Sending unsolicited bulk or commercial fax advertisements in violation of applicable law (including TCPA and junk-fax rules where they apply).
  • Harassment, threats, fraud, phishing, or other illegal content.
  • Faxing content you are not authorized to transmit (e.g., stolen documents, unauthorized PHI disclosure).
  • Automated dialing / fax bombing, war dialing, or deliberately overloading destination numbers or our infrastructure.
  • Attempting to bypass authentication, probe other accounts, or reverse-engineer non-public systems.
  • Reselling the Service or sharing credentials without our written permission.
  • Using the Service to interfere with emergency, government, or critical communications systems.

3. Content responsibility

You are solely responsible for the legality and appropriateness of documents you send and numbers you dial. Healthcare, legal, and other regulated users must ensure their own compliance (HIPAA, confidentiality rules, etc.).

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected abuse, request clarification of your use case, impose temporary send limits, require plan upgrades, or suspend / terminate accounts. We may retain logs as needed for security and compliance.

5. Reporting

To report abuse of Unlimited Faxing (for example, unwanted faxes originating from our service), contact us through unlimitedfaxing.com with the date, time, sending number if known, and a description of the issue.

6. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. The date at the top will be revised when changes are published.
