Unlimited Faxing (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides an online fax portal that lets you send and receive facsimile documents. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — email address, password (stored hashed), optional display name, and default caller ID / DID.
- Fax content & metadata — documents you upload or receive, destination and caller numbers, timestamps, status, and related delivery logs needed to operate the service.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and basic server logs used for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use information
- To create and secure your account, authenticate you, and provide fax send/receive features.
- To transmit documents to the destination fax number you specify and to deliver inbound faxes to your account.
- To show status, history, and downloads inside your portal.
- To prevent abuse, enforce our Acceptable Use Policy, and protect the integrity of the network.
- To communicate service-related notices (for example, account or outage messages).
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with infrastructure and telephony providers strictly as needed to transmit or receive faxes, host the application, or comply with law. Those providers are obligated to handle data appropriately for their role.
4. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Fax documents and job records are retained according to your plan’s retention window and our operational needs (including troubleshooting and abuse prevention), then deleted or anonymized when no longer required, unless a longer period is required by law.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password and protect your login.
6. Your choices
- Update display name and default caller ID in Settings.
- Request account closure or deletion of stored documents by contacting support at the email associated with your account inquiry.
- Do not upload documents you are not authorized to transmit.
7. Children
The service is intended for business and adult users. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
