How to fax from an Android phone

Faxing from Android works the same way as from a computer: you upload a document, enter a fax number, and we deliver it to the fax machine on the other end.

Scan the paper first

Most Android phones can scan to PDF. In Google Drive, tap + then Scan. Some camera apps also offer a document mode. Save the result as a PDF.

Send the fax

  1. Open unlimitedfaxing.com in Chrome and start a free trial (approve with PayPal, cancel before it ends) or sign in.
  2. Tap Send a fax and type the number.
  3. Choose the PDF you scanned.
  4. Add a cover sheet if needed and tap Send.
  5. Watch the status change to delivered.

If a fax fails

Faxes can fail when the other line is busy or a person answers instead of a fax machine. The Outbox shows failed faxes and lets you retry. You can also set automatic retries in your settings.
